Monastic WElcome
You are most welcome to come to Queen of Peace Monastery where, in the silence and through the Word proclaimed, the Lord speak to hearts.

You are welcome to join our community for the Eucharist or the Divine Office. The chapel is open every day from 6 am until 8:30 pm and the Divine Office office is sung throughout the day. Please be aware that some Mondays in the month are our community “hermit” day, with only the Eucharist celebrated publicly in common.

Guest Accomodations
Many people are requesting to come for a time of rest and retreat at our monastery. One day, our community hopes to have the joy of welcoming you for individual silent retreats. This will be possible once we have built appropriate guest accommodations. Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to accommodate over night guests. Please pray for this project in the months to come as we try to advance in this direction.
Day Visits and Retreats
In the meantime, some people have done day retreats at our monastery by staying at a local campsite or bed & breakfast in the Upper Squamish Valley, and visiting our chapel for the day.
If you are coming as a group, please call ahead of time so that we can expect you. We normally do not welcome groups of over 20 persons.
When walking around the monastery a map of the site is available.
When visiting the monastery, we ask that you be respectful of the monastic community and of the local wildlife. Please do not enter any areas that are marked Monastic Enclosure (these are reserved for the monastic community), and help maintain the tranquility and silence of our natural surroundings. Thank-you very much!
